Nickname you prefer to be called:

What’s a typical day look like for you?

My days aren’t typical anymore, as I’m starting to transition into retirement in a few years. Mondays & Fridays I’m on KXLG Radio in Watertown between 9-11AM. I try to make Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday my typical Crestone days. I’m tackling marketing projects, strategizing with Eric on development projects, working the phones, being active and engaged in the community and serving on a couple local boards.

What year did you join Crestone?

Where did you grow up?

Little Falls, MN

Favorite thing about your neighborhood that you grew up in?

I was lucky to grow up in a neighborhood with kids of the same ages. It was just one block, in a development by the local golf course. We had the Mississippi River on one side of the neighborhood, we had a football field, tennis/basketball court, we each had hoops on our garages, a baseball backstop/field in another corner of the neighborhood, sliding, cross county skiing hills on the golf course, an ice rink in another corner of the block. We’d get on our bikes, circle the block and just do whatever every day.

When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A radio disc jockey

What do you like to do when you are not working?

Golfing, fishing, watching TV/movies, audio books

My three pet peeves?

People that use the word “peachy” when I ask them how they are doing. Not putting things back where they belong. Being on time.

Name a few of your daily habits (other than showering or brushing your teeth).

Reading online newspapers, getting caught up on current events before I shower. We make our bed every day.
